Dear Alums and Friends,
“Hope is a Christian virtue that is a great gift from God and that allows us see beyond problems, pain, difficulties, beyond our sins. It allows us to see the beauty of God.”
— Pope Francis
In one of the oldest and most prideful Catholic schools in Philadelphia, Christmas is a very special time on Chestnut street. The Advent season fills us with excitement, anticipation, and much Hope. As Pope Francis reminds us, Hope is the power to see beyond what we can touch, and see the beauty of God. Please take a minute to watch Chase Foster '17 perform O Holy Night in front of the entire school - a little piece of West Catholic Christmas magic! If the video does not appear below, click here to watch.
A blessed and joyous Christmas, and all good things in 2016,
Brother Richard Kestler, FSC
